"Hi Coach,
I never thought I would write one of these e-mails but I am glad to do it.
I am a father of an 8 year old boy who just played his first season of baseball. In getting him ready for the season I was searching for a way to teach him the proper swing mechanics. I figured it would be easier to start him off right, than to let him go and develop a whole lot of bad habits. I started to study the major league players and their swings. I was amazed at how different the major league player swing was to the swing I was taught as a child. I then tried to find a book or video that taught what I was seeing from the professionals. After reviewing a ton of material, your Super 8 system was head and shoulders above everyone.
Your Super 8 system was teaching exactly what I was in the professional swing! Plus, you broke the swing down into simple to follow explanations and diagrams. I thought to myself, this is so simple, I could teach this to an 8 year old. And that is exactly what I did. Over the past winter my son and I worked on the 8 steps. He was able to master the 8 steps well enough to not only be one of the best players on his community league team, he also made the tournament & travel All Star team.
I am thrilled to say that he finished the tournament season with a .468 batting average with 22 hits in 47 at-bats. Several of those hits delivered the game winning RBI! His travel team placed 2nd in two of the three tournaments they entered with all tournaments having a minimum of 12 teams entered. Thanks to your system, my son is learning the proper batting mechanics and not only has great confidence in himself, but his teammates know that when he goes to bat he will come through with a hit.
Again, THANK YOU!"

“Coach Brockhoff,
I coach a 14U travel baseball team and this past February I purchased and implemented the Super 8 hitting system to our team. While as a group they are still a work in progress many of the boys made significant improvements throughout the season and peaked at our most recent tournament. One of those that worked on his rotational swing throughout the year and got better every game was my son Spencer. Technically he should be playing at the 13U level, but he is skilled enough to play at the 14U level. This past weekend he hit his first homerun on the “big fields”, which was 295 down the left field line. He also hit a shot to centerfield that was caught at the fence, which was 310. Not bad for a kid going into the 8th grade, but it was due to his work on the tee and following your system. Thanks for putting it together because it is easy to coach to and the boys can see immediate results. The bottom line is that it works!
On a different note I am looking for someone who is local that I can take my son to during the winter. We live in New Hope PA, which is in Bucks County about 35 miles north of Philly. Do you have anyone that you can recommend that would stay true to the Super 8 hitting concepts.
Thanks again for your program.”

“Hi Coach Joe –
My son is memorizing the information, both the written and the video info.
We started during a recent run which got our 14 year old team into the Little League State Championship held in Stuart, FL 2 weekends ago. We lost, a team from West Melbourne is representing FLA, we ended up ranking 5th of approximately 250 teams statewide.
My son raised his batting average even as we were seeing the best pitching of his life. Much of what your system teaches he had heard and seen, but a lot he had not. Without a full swing overhaul, he was able to improve at the Sectional and the State levels. Your system gave him the edge and confidence during the hottest 2 weeks of baseball in his life.
So anyway, I guess we didnt buy the whole system, which I thought we had, but he is working through your stuff daily with results.”

“Joe,
I just wanted to let you know how the super 8 hitting system has worked for my son. My son is 11 years old and in Little League. He missed a little more than half (the last half) of the regular baseball season due to a broken knuckle. I put his name in the hat for the post season tournament team, not really expecting he would be selected, even though he played well the first half of the season. He was selected and ended up leading his team in most of the batting stats.
During his broken knuckle hiatus, I continued to work with him on his batting, using the Super 8 system, with every drill we could do with a broken knuckle. It was very interesting because, for some reason, one of his coaches focussed on his hitting a bit and tried to get him to change some things using the old cliche's like, "Keep your elbow up and get your bat back." I encouraged him to just nod yes, but do what he learned from your system. I have added some of his stats and areas where he led his team:
Batting Average: .556
Slugging Percentage: .926
On Base Percentage: .675
Tied for first most extra base hits with the most triples and home runs.
Thanks a bunch for putting the system out, as well as the updates and training materials!”

“Coach,
I personally want to thank you for your logical approach to hitting. My son Ben watches your DVD over and over again to make sure he grasps all of the information. I have never seen him more motivated to "get it right." Thank you, thank you THANK YOU!”

“Hey Joe,
Just want to thank you, your probably thinking what for. Well I still havent order your program, but hope to soon.. I have not been able to for reasons I cant share but hoping soon I will be able to.. Anyways I tried some of the drills that you share on youtube, and it has helped my son.. Thank you, My son is 17 years old and he had been doing good but was not driving the ball like he should, so Im always looking for drills or program that might help him be better.. When I first heard about the program, it was hard to believe that it was that easy... Well tried some of the drills and he did pretty good in a game at one of the local schools , he hit a game winning triple with bases loaded.. He was very excited, and all he wanted to do is get home and watch some of the other videos on youtube.. Thank You for your time and instruction.. The video helped alot. It doesnt take alot its the simple stuff that help.. God Bless You.”

“Hey coach good day,
My name is Angel Torres Sr. I ordered your hitting DVD and I really appreciate all the tips and hitting instructions provided . I coach a Senior Little League and a open league AA team . I've already started training my guys and already seen a Significant amount of improvement . Therefore I would like to also purchase the DVD on how to improve my pitchers velocity." Thank you,

"Coach, since using your hitting system, my son 13 year old son Chase, has
been consistently hitting the ball well over 300 feet. He hit his first
home run on a high school field (333 feet) this past weekend in a
USSSA tournament. He also had 2 doubles, one was hit 360 feet
to center. He has always been a good hitter, has hit for power, but was not
very consistent. With the proper mechanics that your hitting system
has provided, and the hard work he has put in, he is now the most
feared hitter on his team.
Thank you for all the coaching he has received from your system. This
is by far the best money I have spent."

"Coach, we loved your videos. My 11 year old son made the little league
All-Star team this year, thanks in part to your hitting instruction. He
worked all year leading up to this season, shortening his hitting stroke
and rolling up on his back foot (rather than squishing the bug). He added
250 points to his average and over half his hits were for extra bases. He hit
his first HOME RUN this year, and believe it or not it was to the opposite
field! His All-Star team went to the State Championship and WON!!! I have
never seen him so excited and confident at the plate until now. I want to
personally thank you for passing your hitting wisdom along. Our summer could not
have been better".

“Hi Coach
Your hitting system is an excellent presentation of hitting and support drills for teaching the basic fundamentals of hitting, without a lot of extraneous stuff. It is well illustrated and very easy to follow. It makes hitting a piece of cake!!!!
I coached youth baseball, from T-ball to Mickey Mantle (16) , and 18 year-old Connie Mack and AABC. I am 79 and no longer an active coach (although my heart is still in it). However, I enjoy working with our grand kids (when asked) and passed your videos, chart, and training tools on to our youngest son (44) in Columbus, Ohio who had a 9 year-old team this summer that won the USSA Ohio state championship and was runner-up in the Nation’s Baseball state tourney. They ended up 32-2 on the year. Our 9 year-old grandson, Tommy, hit over .700 and pitched amazingly well for a 9 year-old. I clocked him consistently in the 51-53 mph range, which is very strong for his age. And he’s a lefty!!
Our 10 year-old grandson, Will, in Blue Ridge Georgia is also an outstanding athlete, excelling in baseball, basketball and golf, He’s a switch hitter and pitches lefty, in the 57-60 mph range.. His bat speed is in the 55-60 mph range, and for a little guy, he really pounds the ball. His 7 year old brother is coming on also.
Our 13 year-old grandson Chris here in Cincinnati is going into the 8th grade, and wants to play baseball and basketball at Moeller High School. Moeller reached the state finals in both basketball and baseball, so he has his work cut out for him to prepare for their top-rated programs We just installed a batting cage in his back yard and he is working on his hitting every spare moment.(when he is not playing or practicing basketball). I reviewed your hitting program with him and his dad to provide a sound fundamental basis for developing his stroke.
We have two grandsons in Cocoa Beach , Florida who played H.S basketball. The older one is a red shirt sophomore at Florida Southern. The younger one, Tyler just graduated from high school and will also be attending Fl So. He would like to play both basketball and baseball, like he did in HS. Even though he played basketball year around for the last 4 years, and baseball only during the HS season, he hit. .417 his jr year and .385 his sr year. In one 45 minute session this past January, I helped him increase his bat speed 10 mph. Unfortunately some of his former line drive singles as a junior turned into long catchable fly outs his senior year, which is why his batting average dropped, although his extra base hits increased, So we still have more work to do.
Thank you again for your outstanding Hitting System.
Best wishes.”

“I wanted to drop you a note to thank you for the emails. I would have responded sooner, but they were sent to my wife, Michele. She just forgot to forward the emails to me.
The only email address I have is through work. My email address at work is rodneyhoward@flhsmv.gov It's nice to see your concern for my son, Blaine. He is a very active boy and he loves baseball. He was in a hitting slump and he was getting down on himself. Your are articles hit home with me. It seemed as if every coach would tell him a different way to hit. He was confused! In addition, Blaine was being taught and hearing all the terms you were discounting. Your program makes so much sense and it is still an effort to keep him sheltered from the other methods of batting being taught in our area which have been engrained for generations.
I was forced to make some concessions to make it through the season. His coaches wanted him to hold the bat up off his shoulders. I worked with Blaine to get him in a confortable position and incorporated many of your techniques.
I purchased a lighter bat for Blaine because his bat speed was not up-to-par.
During the off season we will focus on your program even more. When he is stroking the ball the other coaches will leave his stance alone. Blaine has started hitting much better and I wanted to write you an email to say, "Thanks ".

“Wes was Playing against a Team at Tulane Saturday Marruchi out of Lafayette. Wes Hit a Ball Over the Television Score Board In Left Center. Cleared it by about Ten Ft. One of the Canazario boys was umpiring and he said he has never seen a ball hit out of there like that before. It landed in the Houses behind the Field. People say it was a 500' ft shot. I have Never seen any thing like it in college. Scouts where there and the head coach of ULL ,his son was on the other team.”
“The last set of vedio's I got from you my boy and I learned alot and his hiting has goting better. We had a game tonight and he hit one over that's 3rd one in the last week. We both thank you for your time and info.

“Coach Brock, thanks so much for your response. It really means a lot. I think going slow is fantastic advice and he is definitely picking up the principles. Putting them into play during game situations is another story but I’m confident he’s on the right track.
I mentioned that I have learned so much from your program but I was amazed to discover how much my son has learned. We were watching a Minor League game (a step up from AA where we are) and he pointed out a batter’s long swing and how he was rolling his wrists right before and at contact. That blew me away and I think it says a lot about your program that an eight year-old is able to process the information and observe what other hitters are doing right or wrong.
Once again, thanks so much. I truly think we’re going to start seeing fantastic results very shortly.”

“Coach,
I want to extend my thanks to you for a great video. This year, my son (age 11) has struggled terribly with his timing and inability to get the bat head into the hitting zone. After witnessing countless strikeouts so far this year, I found your website. Parker and I watched your video twice over the weekend. This week, he went 7 for 11 with some SOLID extra base hits! I'm shocked at how much more compact and short his swing is. He quickly grasped the concept of the drive and now can't wait for his next game.
His proud smile is priceless!” Thank you,

“Hello,
I have to say, I found the 5 preview videos remarkably helpful... Not only was there noticeable improvemwnt with many of the kids, but I felt much more comfortable using your suggestions than any baseball techniques I have seen before as i fell like your stuff is presented in a manner that makes it far easier to teach.
I really wish I could get the balance of your program... Unfortunately we do not have the resources to do so, but I just wanted you to know how valuable we found your information to be, and that hopefully soon we would be able to acquire the balance of you program.”

“Coach Brockhoff,
I loved all the videos and I took notes on them but I try to use them to show my players as well...I would like an extension to continue watching them but I don't know how long to ask for. I am continually trying to become a better teacher of the game and I think your system is great. I love the videos and try to refresh my mind almost daily by watching them over and over. Thanks for helping out.”

“Dear Coach Joe B.
I would just like for you to know I bought the the *DVD training and the speed bat for my 5 and 7 year old Grand Sons who are just getting started. their improvement is very satisfying. The 5 year old, this is his first year, and he is hitting the ball better than any of the other kids on his team and has very good bat control for a Kid his age.He is hitting the ball much harder that before since we have started working with him. He is hitting more line drive wher he use to hit dinky rollers and pop-up.
The 7 year old this is his 3rd season. Since getting the instructional DVD and speed bat his power has really improve and in the first week using your techniques he has hit 3 inside the part homer run deep in the outfield over the heads of the outfielder, 2 of which rolled all the way to the fence.. He is playing on a field where the fences are 210 ft so no one expects anyone to hit it out. He is really excited about his improvement and I think his Dad is even more exceited. I just wanted to let you know how much improvement has come in such a short time
Glad I found you hitting instruction.”

“Coach-
I bought the Super 8 Hitting System back in July of 2009. Since that time, my son has done the Tempo-Drills along with the Tempo-Drills DVD pretty regularly, and of course works on the techniques every time he takes BP. Josh is 13 years old, and just started Babe Ruth this year, playing with 13/14/15 year olds. So, the pitching he sees is far more challenging than the pitching he has seen up to this point. He also plays on a 13u club baseball team, and the pitching he sees playing for them is also quite a bit more challenging than what he is used to.
Josh is 5’-2”, and weighs 90 pounds soaking wet. He is the smallest kid on his Babe Ruth team by easily ~20-30 pounds. He started the season off hitting leadoff. While he has been a leadoff hitter his whole career, I was still quite surprised to see his coaches put him in the leadoff spot given his age/size, and given the size/ability of some of his older teammates. He has gotten off to the best start I have ever seen him have as a player. In his first 5 games, he hit .556, and had more than twice as many hits as the next player on his team.
I told him a couple of games ago that, as crazy as it sounded given his size, that he was putting his coaches into a dilemma. I have coached for about 8 years, and looking at the stats for his team – if it was my team – I told my son that I would move him into the 3-hole. He has by far the most hits – but only 1 RBI!!! .. and the team is 2-2-1.
Guess what? I went to last night’s game, arriving just as the leadoff hitter was about to take a 3-2 pitch… and it wasn’t Josh! I thought maybe he was being disciplined for missing a practice (he was sick and missed a practice two days earlier)… but the next thing I know, the leadoff hitter walked, the second hitter went to the plate….. and Josh stepped into the on-deck circle! A 5’-2” 90-pound kid was going to hit in the 3-hole!!!
The second hitter walked, and Josh took the first strike to allow the runner to steal 2nd. With an 0-1 count, he pounded a single into right center to drive in the runs. Later, he drove a ball deep into right with a runner on 3rd to score that run… and the right fielder had to make a great play to catch the ball, moving full speed into the RC gap.
I don’t know how to convey how amazed I am that this could happen. He is consistently pounding the baseball… and while he has decent pop now, I know when he hits his changes, he is going to hit for power as well. The only difference between this season and years past is that he has spent the past ~10 months doing the Tempo-Drills, and working on the S8 techniques in BP.
I can’t thank you enough for the Super-8 Hitting System. It provides absolutely the best hitting instruction I have ever seen. I wish I had it when I was a little leaguer!!! Actually, I wish I had it when I started coaching 8 years ago. The youngsters I have coached would be WAAY better hitters!”

“My son was 16 in July 2009 he has been playing baseball Since he was about 6.
I have coach my son for years in hitting because of what I had learn in college. During those years back in the late 70s I had been taught a step system from my coach that he said he pickup from the head coach at Tulane. That system got me into the Minor even though I only lasted 6 month and was out due to a knee injury.
When my son told me that he want to do more I started looking for that system because my memory is not, well not perfect. He is a switch hitter and has been hitting pretty good but I knew that there were issue I was unable to get him to see.
Back in Sept 2009 I found your Online Supper 8 hitting System. Once I reviewed it that was it. My memory started coming back to me. This was it!
When I first showed it to my son he enjoyed some of it but just did not want change. So I kept helping and little by little changing on piece at a time he was getting close. Hitting 2 for 4 with singles mostly and getting a lot of walks.
I think the tuning point came for him about three weeks ago when he went 0 for 5 in two games.
When he came home I asked him how serious are you about hitting now. He said whatever it takes.
That Sat we spent the whole day working reviewing and practice the swing over and over until it looked prefect. Since it was a rainy day we work in the living room and garage. We have a Swing-away and used it to work on locations out and in.
The next two games were like batting practice. Since he is the lead off he went 2 for 3 a lead off double left center and a single up the middle. The second game was four days later and boy did he work after that first game. He when 4 for 4 with two singles, a double and a triple. With 3 stolen bases and two runs.
Thanks again for your system
The basics made simple for those with a complex minds.”

I think he is going to invest in the entire series. Shaka went 3 for 3 on last Friday's game. Joe, thanks so much for your hitting program. It means so much for me to finally be able to communicate with my son in such a positive way regarding hitting.”

“Hi Coach,I've been a professional player, coach and scout for many yrs.Worked with kids and their coaches of all ages and abilities during that time.I came across your program by accident but am glad I did.I would like to congratulate and thank you for an exceptional piece of work that clarifies the confusion that is often found in these presentations. Outstanding work that I would highly recommend to anyone at any level.
Thanks, I'm looking forward to reviewing the remainder of the series.”

“Thanks Joe. I really like the shine the light concept, and as a matter of fact started to use it while I was waiting on the postman to deliver your program to me. I even took a long large flashlight, and had the kids hold it as a bat, used a pole with a ball to simulate different positions, and had them actually shine the light on the ball. It helped them all with the concept.
Just a point that I would like to make, and that is that I have been around baseball for a long time (about 60 years), and have stuided and pestered many college coaches to learn the fundementals of hitting and pitching. I am a huge Tom House fan for pitching, and now I put your hitting system right up there. It is by far the best I have seen, and is complete. So much of what is out there covers only a portion of what is needed, and incomplete in my opinion. Thanks again for doing it, and maybe I will get a chance to meet you personally sometime. Just two old guys having coffee!”

“Hi Coach Brockhoff,
I have to first thank you and your lovely wife for sending me this letter of tips from you baseball library. Next, I have to share this story with you and your wife. Before I ordered your system, I prayed to God for a good hitting system that would help my son understand the art of hitting. Well, you know the Lord certainly answers prayers. But he sent me more than I could have possibly realized. I loved your program from the beginning. It took my son and my husband a while before they were convinced. My son was in a huge slump. He finally decided to listen to your system and now he is tearing the cover off the ball. I wish that he would spend more time with the system, but at least he belives in it now. Thanks again for your Shine the Light article.”

| “Hello, Coach, my name is Dave Rustay, I live in Syracuse, NY about a mile from the Carrier Dome( home of the #1 SU orangemen,as of this writing 3/3/10 ). Sorry, thought I would throw that in there for laugh's...don't mean to brag. Anyways, a footnote about myself...I am a former 1st team All-American NJCAA from Onondaga community college here in Syr. and I signed with Ron Frasier, at U of M in 1985 the yr after they won the D-1 national title...unfortunately, I was injured and was not able to attend there. I was a "5 tool player " in my day and studied the game extensively. I study baseball like my wife of 18 yrs studies shopping malls . I study the hitting from many different angle's ; how the bodies muscular system works and how the eye's read pitches to inform the brain on how to put the swing in motion....mechanically and naturally. I have looked at countless things on the internet, bookstores,as well as, myself when I trained for efficient-least amount of motion for contact and forced power. Your information and technical knowledge is the closest I have seen regarding "the swing" in its approach to hitting. Thank you, and goodluck this season.”

“Coach:
I've been using this style of hitting for my entire coaching career. 2010 is my 40th year, having coached college, American Legion and HS during that time.
When I first started in this business, I was a young assistant coach at Eastern Ky. University. Former Yankee Hall of Famer , Earl Coombs (CF'er with Murderers Row)gave me a tip about teaching hitting and then offered to have a friend contact me about the secret to hitting. One late afternoon a gentleman called me, and offered to send me some research he'd worked on about hitting. Being a young, hot shot coach back in 1972, I questioned this man. He told me his name was Lou Fonseca from Major League Films and that he'd spent nearly 40 year going over 35 mm film to find why some hitters are so much better than others. Today, I now know Mr. Fonseca, was also a Hall of Famer but being a gentleman he didn't brag. These 2 men kind of put me a career long search for the best hitting styles and best information on the "hardest skill in sports" .
I never had the chance to meet Ted Williams, although I would have given thousands of dollars for 10 minutes with him. I've met with and talked with famous instructors like Jim Schwanke, Mike Epstein, Jim LeFevre, Charlie Lau, Sr, Gary Ward, Rob Ellis and many others in my quest. I've studied this stuff and I met Don Slaught about 5 years ago, and use his "Rightview Pro System" of Instruction through video analysis. I give private lessons and do only one on one instruction at $20 a half hour which helps this retired teacher live a little better.
When I came across Coach joe Brockhoff's system, I again added a major resource to my collection of great hitting principles. Joe, I like the way you say things. I believe you and the others confirm that the major league swing is where it is at. When I was kid my HS coach advised me to quit trying to bat like Hank Aaron, because supposedly he had such terrible hitting habits. Now through the clear vision of history that kind of advise was garbage. So Joe thanks for all the ideas and tips, sometime I'd like to share some of mine. Last summer, I won my 2000th career game as a head baseball coach.
I've won 618 in HS and the rest as head coach of Troy Post 43 Baseball here in Ohio. My college experience was primarily as assistant but I was head coach at Jr. College for 1 season and won 19 there. I've sent over 360 grads on to play at various college levels. $3 of my grad have signed pro contracts and 2 made it to the majors. Last, June, our latest player Matt Bashore ('06 grad was honored as Big 10 Player of the Year, and 1st rounder of the Minnesota Twins out of Un of Indiana. So far this year, I've had 4 seniors sign early with mostly small colleges.
Joe, you are doing a great job and your information is right there with the best in the business........”

| “I received the DVD's and watched them the other night. Good stuff...I coach youth baseball and study hitting quite a bit and think this is the best system I've seen so far. I probably read a dozen books and watched even more video on the subject over the last year. Coach Brockhoff has a sound teaching method that is easy to understand.”

“Coach,
Good stuff. I coach about 80 kids. Some of them are now top performers in local high schools. The three 16 year old pitchers are now throwing in the upper 80s with dominant control. I can imagine the pride you have from helping so many kids in your long career. I hope many people and kids hit your site.”

“Coach,
Awesome site. I've been showing it to people everywhere I travel. Your guidance and instruction thru the years helped develop Alex into a very good high school player and more importantly instilled the work ethic needed to be successful. Thank you.
Let me know when you are in Baton Rouge and we can get together.”

| “Coach, your instructions have always been great and very useful. Your enthusiasm is infectious! I am almost 58 years old, and I've been playing baseball on and off all my life. playing in a wooden bat league in the SF Bay Area, having the time of my life playing and relearning how to hit. It's a constant process of lifelong learning. I can pass the best of it along to players at the high school where I teach--Lowell High School in SF. I'll tell the coach about this. Thanks again.” |

“Hello,
I am glad I heard the Webinar because it gave me yet another chance to run through in my mind the exact actions I need to take in each of the 8 steps. The drive step is the most difficult for me, to turn my hips and not commit the hands quite yet is my biggest challenge.
I like your book and videos and use them often to help me with that step especially.”

“Hey coach,
I think that the Webinar was a really good idea. The video analysis was very helpful. Also thanks for the advice on how to not shift my weight onto my front foot when I make contact with the ball. Thanks.”

“Coach Brockhoff,
My son is living his dream of playing ball in Southern California. Having experienced both quality coaching and sometimes less so, he continues to work at being the best he can. Your Coaching/Hitting program is a quality product that makes sense and incorporates your years of experince and knowledge. Many thanks and perhaps you'll see my guy, Eric, in the Green Wave line up soon. Many Thanks.”

“Dear Coach Joe,
I just wanted to thank-you for your Super 8 Hitting System. I ordered your program back in August. My son, Joshua is 10 years old and has the tools to turn into a very good baseball player. Joshua has always been willing to work extra when it came to baseball. Immediately after receiving the Super 8 System we went through the videos together and immediately began with the drills and the speed bat drills. I must say that the improvement was immediate. I was able to see faults in his swing and make on the spot corrections as we did BP in the cages or on the field. It was always good to refer back to the parts of the body and the "specialized" name that you gave to each body part.
What has been the most amazing thing is Joshua's approach to hitting. I can see his confidence while in the batter's box. He takes an approach of certainty with an expectation of success. I assure you that this was not there prior to implementing your hitting system.
I would like to give you some specifics in regards to Joshua's recent success.
He played in a travel ball tournament over Labor Day. All together his team played in 5 games. Joshua had hits in all of the games, in fact he didn't strike out once the whole tournament (about 15 AB's). After that Joshua was asked to played on a "competitive" Fall Ball team with a team (major's level) in our little league district. He is playing with 11, 12, and 13 year olds (keep in mind Joshua turned 10 back in August). His hitting has improved even more. Coach Joe, Joshua is the leadoff hitter for his team, they have played in 16 games. His average is above .550 for the season and what is amazing he has only struck out one time! His confidence in the batters box is incredible.
I constantly get asked by the other dad's and coaches what have I done to get him to play to this level against older kids from other leagues. Cheerfully I have always referred to our purchase of your Super 8 Hitting Program and given it my best endorsement. Your program is understandable, repeatable, fun, and with a little effort and desire the results happen fast!
Thank-you again Coach Joe. My only regret is that your hitting system wasn't available 30 years ago when I was moving up the ranks into high school baseball. With Much Appreciation.”

“Coach,
Thanks for the great DVDs. My son Michael, 14, has been using them for his Team USA 14u tryout and I couldn't be happier. Sad to say, but he broke his wrist during batting practice 10 days before the tryout and we weren't able to attend the finals. I couldn't wait to show off his new batting style. Thanks to you, he has become an ANIMAL with the bat.
I also wanted to let you know that I had an opportunity to "Legitimize" your expertise. A friend of mine and fellow Ex-Navy pilot/United Airline pilot was once a pitcher for you at Tulane in the early '80's, Jimmy Sexton.....
He told me some interesting stories about you that made me smile as they were very intriguing. Although he never had the opportunity to bat being a pitcher, he enjoyed talking with the position players about your style. He said you made the players watch hours of Ted Williams video. Since he was one of the greatest hitters of all time, it made sense to use him as an example, and that your nearly-sole purpose as a coach was to make sure your players could hit.
He also said your nickname among the players was "The Animal," a reference to your bus-ride antics and team discussions following a loss, getting in the player's faces and letting them know your disappointment. Hilarious the way he told it. I can appreciate your desire to win.
Personally, I am elated to have someone so passionate about the art teaching my son to hit a baseball. He is the only 14 year old in Chet Lemon's (All-Star OF DET and ChiSox) Florida Scout League for 16/18 yr olds, no doubt a testament to learning to hit the Brockhoff way. We are both looking forward to getting back to it after the wrist heals in a few weeks.
My son's new nickname is "The Animal," after the way he is now attacking the ball, thanks to you.
We will keep you posted on his future accomplishments. Thanks for arguably the best instruction I have ever purchased. We watch them together (when he lets me join him!). Now, when I tell him something, he actually believes I know what I am saying, not just another stupid Dad!”

“Hello Coach Brockhoff,
I am finally to the point where I can purchase your video series on hitting. I would have before now but we have had a bit of rough going over the past several months. I cannot tell you how much my daughter's (Nyah) hitting has improved since we started trying the free video e-mails you sent. She went from being an average hitter last fall to being the only girl all star player in the 5-6 year old division this past Spring! She had 53 at bats during all star play and ended up with an 809 average "highest on the team". We are tickled to death and will be purchasing soon.”

| “Thanks for the insight. I have already started with the implementation of your hitting system with Tanner and it has already helped him hit the ball better. He had been hitting line drives but not with power. Your hitting system has helped HIM see how he was starting to extend to early, and his hands were not always behind the ball at contact. He has really worked on fixing this and is hitting the ball with much more power. I will work on the pitch recognition drills and keep working with the others.”

| “I hope to get another chance to buy your 8 DVD hitting system… since I bought your online introductory hitting system, my son was batting .180 half way through the season, then I found your web site he went on to bat .480 for the season, made the all-star team and batted .500. I just wanted to take the time to thank you.”

| “I received my videos on Monday and I have spent several hours in front of the TV consumed with the wealth of information presented in the DVDs. I feel like I am getting a ‘Masters Degree in Hitting’. I've searched for some years for a "system" I could use with my team to teach hitting. This is the first time I've seen such a system and it teaches the concepts I believe build a pro-style swing. Thank you for making this available.”

| “My name is Joe Ruvio and I wanted to tell you how great your Super 8 Hitting System is... It’s been only 2 weeks and my son is 15 years old. We have worked on some things from the stance to the finish. We haven't thrown balls to him as of yet because I wanted him to not have to think much at the plate.
I have to tell you one thing for sure that I have spent (and I’m NOT KIDDING) $3,000 dollars on hitting instruction from different outfits that include ex professional ballplayers to college players and no one, I MEAN NO ONE, explains hitting like you!! I am serious!!!
They tried to teach the turn, BUT NEVER EXPLAINED, why you get on your back toe. It’s always hands going down to the tee, and then the cutting with saw idea pushing both hands to the hitting zone. Again, I see an extreme difference in my son’s swing, his stance, powering the right wrist, follow through and finish. Thanks again... I'm just an average DAD.”

“I have started – emphasis on ‘started’ – working on the mechanics your system promotes, with my son. I haven’t even worked on him that much. But in just a couple of weeks, I have seen his barrel-accuracy improve noticeably.
I started a club baseball team this off-season in large part to give my boy the chance to adjust to the big-diamond over the 6 months leading up to his first season in Babe Ruth next spring.
We played our first game yesterday against a quality opponent. He went 3-for-3 with 4 RBIs. But, more importantly… he stepped up to the plate in the 5th inning, down by 1 run, with two-outs and the bases chucked. This is a situation in which he has not excelled in during his career. There he stood, bat on shoulder, very relaxed… just like your videos promote. He turned on the first strike he was thrown and drove a triple into the gap! I wish I could have filmed it to see how much his stroke resembled the Super-8 stroke… but I’m telling you that in a very short period of time, his barrel-accuracy, and thus his confidence, has improved.”

| “I would like to give a "BIG THUMBS UP" to the Super 8 Hitting System. It is by far the best hitting program I have seen in my 30 years of being involved with baseball. I am highly impressed with Coach Brockhoff and his ideas. I wish these concepts were taught to me when I played. This is the way I will teach hitting from this point on.”

“Coach,
I wanted to thank you. I was trying to figure out how to adjust my 10yr old sons timing so he could make better contact and drive the ball. Don’t get me wrong he was hitting the ball but it was very inconsistent. I found your hitting system and a bell went off in my head, this system makes sense. I purchased the videos and because of the timing, we only had about a week to get started, before his 9/10yr All-Star tournament. We worked on the concepts and we could see an improvement right away. He picked up enough of the techniques (not perfect) but I didn’t want to change to much the week before All-Stars.
The results from the tournament were awesome, he was really driving the ball and hitting doubles and triples. In the regional semi-final he crushed his first homerun over the left-center field fence. He had a great game in which he also pitched a complete game shutout (63 pitches- 6 innings). It couldn’t have been better. Thanks again.”

“I do use the downloaded version for my son and a few of his teammates in High School
and it seems to be working. It’s amazing that I have been teaching the same type of idea
for years with my son, and as you know a son will not listen to his coach/father until
I made him read and watch some of your short versions that came with the download. He looked at me like “WOW”, maybe I should have been listening to you all along! Now
he will stop and ask what he is doing right or wrong. I thank you and your staff for making it possible for Coaches like myself to show our young players that its not all talk ITS PROVEN.”

“Coach Brockhoff was the coach at Tulane University for 15 years or more. He had teams that lead the nation in hitting a few years and was always in the top 10. Joe recruited local kids from around the New Orleans area and taught them how to hit. I know the history on how he developed his simple madness and the filming of all the big league hitters, etc.
My son is a pitcher named Blaise… he knows Blaise very well. Blaise was not, and really never been interested in hitting. He went to Joe his sophmore year 2 years ago hitting .270 finished the season .400… was a .400 + hitter in high school and was not that interested in hitting.”

“I must say of all the DVDs on the market regarding hitting instruction the Super 8 System would just have to be the most simplistic one to teach. I myself have always felt that to teach young players 7-16 about batting you have to keep it simple and to the point. I have found this system fits in perfectly with the way I teach batting. No mumbo jumbo and long explanations.
I am taken with the agenda videos on the breaking down of the hitting drills. Great information. Once again thank you.”

| “I was fortunate to have played 13 years of organized baseball with 7 years in the major leagues. With that I had the chance to play with the likes of Rod Carew, Harmon Killebrew, Tony Oliva ,Willie Stargell and more.
While my professional days are over, I still play senior league baseball and follow high school baseball in our area. I have been introduced to the Super 8 Hitting System by Joe Brockhoff and the best way I can evaluate his program is to say I wish that I had this back in the day! I know that it would have enhanced my game and given me the tools to be more successful. I too, have recently seen outstanding results when the program was introduced in my area. So for anyone who is a serious hitter, do not miss out on this opportunity to learn from the best.”

| “Hey coach… ever since I purchased the super 8 hitting system it has worked great for me. I was hitting a measly .250 and now I am leading the team in batting average hitting .465. The system has helped me a lot and I still haven’t mastered it yet but I will. So, I just wanted to thank you and this will help me play college ball in thefall.”
